Biannual Volunteer Meeting Autumn 2018

November 3, 2018

The Center for Human-Animal Interaction hosted a meeting attended by volunteers and Dogs On Call teams. The Biannual Volunteer Meeting provides an opportunity for Center staff to appreciate the contributions of volunteers to the mission of improved health and well-being through human-animal interaction. Topics discussed included news, research into human-animal interaction, recognitions for Dogs On Call Leads Teams, goal accomplishments, stress in animals, and a special talk on compassion fatigue. Therapy dog handlers who reached milestone years of volunteering received special recognition.
