Biannual Volunteer Meeting Spring 2019

April 13, 2019

The Center for Human-Animal Interaction hosted a meeting attended by Dogs On Call handlers. The Biannual Volunteer Meeting allows Center staff to show appreciation for the therapy dog teams and present new information gathered from their visits. Topics discussed included news updates, goal accomplishments, stress in animals, and a special talk on compassion fatigue. Volunteers were given slingbags that have The Center for Human-Animal Interaction's logo and the words "Dogs On Call" to help carry supplies used for therapy dog visits.
