Dogs On Call Deliver PetSmart Toys to Pediatric Patients

Local Glen Allen Petsmart store #1051 donated hundreds of stuffed cat and dog toys as part of the PetSmart Gives Back Charity initiative. Dogs On Call volunteers and partners with the VCU Safety and Security team were able to give out the cuddly toys, and met with appreciative parents and children.

Thanks to the generous donations made by PetSmart Charities and the wonderful customers at PetSmart, hundreds of "Chance" and "Lucky" plushes were given to patients at Children's Hospital of Richmond at VCU, Virginia Treatment Center for Children, The Doorways, VCU Massey Cancer Center and various units within VCU Health! Due to a partnership with the VCU Police Department, Santa was able to accompany our very own Dogs on Call therapy dogs for an extra special visit and toy delivery.
